Over the past 20 years, Dr. Kiepert Truong has worked in one-on-one and classroom settings in charter schools, private schools, child care centers, summer camps, and enrichment programs with children as young as infants up through 8th grade. As an entrepreneur and educational leader, she has launched an early literacy blog in 2011 that was nominated for an award in education, and founded A First Foundation, LLC in 2013 which has also been nominated for awards and has served hundreds of families in early literacy camps, enrichment programs, and parenting education classes. In 2017, Dr. Kiepert Truong was hired to help launch a Day School on the Main Line where she served as the founding Head of School for over 3 years. In 2020, A First Foundation, LLC has grown into a private practice that offers learning support in kindergarten readiness skills, reading, spelling, writing, handwriting, mathematics, emotional regulation and self-control, and executive functioning skills.

Dr. Kiepert Truong works with students who may have an identified learning disorder and students who do not, or have not yet been identified. She provides early intervention and subject-area support for children in preschool through elementary grades. In addition, she provides educational therapy to adolescents who need to strengthen their executive functioning and study skills. Dr. Kiepert Truong also provides social-emotional skill development, assessment/evaluation, achievement testing, and reading and writing assessment.
