Kindergarten Readiness

One-on-one, individualized sessions specifically designed for the Preschool/PreK age group and aimed at developing the whole child. Methods for learning include hands-on, engaging activities. Includes focus on:

  • literacy skills such as speaking, reading, writing, and listening

  • language skills such as vocabulary 

  • fine and gross motor skills

  • social-emotional skills such as self-regulation and emotional control

  • mathematical skills such as number sense, algebraic thinking, geometry, and data analysis

The process includes an initial consultation, in-depth Kindergarten readiness evaluation using informal and standardized assessments, written report, individualized action plan, and follow-up consultation with parents to discuss their child's readiness for kindergarten and/or helping them with school decisions.

Early Intervention & Subject-Area Support 

One-on-one, individualized tutoring sessions for children ranging in age from preschool through elementary school in the areas of:

  • preschool/kindergarten skills

  • phonemic awareness

  • decoding

  • reading fluency and comprehension

  • spelling and grammar

  • vocabulary building

  • handwriting

  • writing

  • mathematics

The process includes a free consultation, comprehensive assessment, written report with customized plan, and progress reports. Sessions typically are held for 45, 60, or 90 minutes, 1 - 2 times per week. 

Kindergarten Enrichment

A small-group, school-year program designed to support 1/2 day Kindergarten. Students gain skills in:

  • literacy

  • mathematics

  • science

  • social studies

  • social-emotional development

Classes are limited to 3 students and meet twice per week for 2 hours.

Social-Emotional Skills & Well Being

One-on-one or group sessions for children of all ages designed for the development of such areas as:

  • emotional control

  • self-regulation

  • empathy 

  • conflict resolution

  • positive identity

  • communication

  • social norms/morals

This program is taught as a 12-lesson course, 45-minutes a session.

Child In Speech Therapy

Screenings and Assessment

Comprehensive assessment for students of all ages. Assessment areas may include:

  • phonological processing skills

  • phonemic awareness

  • child development milestones

  • vocabulary

  • academic achievement 

  • reading skills such as decoding, encoding, fluency and comprehension

  • handwriting and letter formation

  • social-emotional development

  • whole child development

  • Kindergarten Readiness

Testing takes place over the course of several sessions and results will be summarized in an in-depth report. Assessments are for the purpose of understanding your child's unique strengths and, if necessary, recommendation for further testing may be made. Screenings and assessments are not intended for making a diagnosis.

Educational Therapy

One-on-one or group sessions for adolescents to address barriers to learning success such as:

  • executive functioning

  • working memory

  • attention 

  • study & organization skills

Sessions typically are held for 1.5 hours, once per week for 9 weeks.
